  1. Actual Tuition Fee (in AUS $ dollars) - approximate 20 contact hours per week (in class).
  2. An AAHM polo shirt will be supplied. A 128MB memory stick to save handouts in soft copy, in class, work or lessons.These excursions are part of the course and include the following examples: restaurants, vineyards, function rooms, visiting chef, hotels, accommodation and food. This represents the cost associated with providing study resources to students and all excursions taken to enhance student knowledge.
  3. An application fee of $230 is a one-off-fee that is submitted with students enrolment documents. Note: this fee is non-refundable and applied to the total fees above.
If student enrol into Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or credit transfer, then allow a surcharge of $700 for RPL and start up resources in addition to the above Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma "Total Cost".

  2. An AAHM polo shirt will be supplied for all practical and theory classes. A 128MB memory stick to save handouts in soft copy, in class, work or lessons. This represents the cost associated with providing study resouces to students. Students will undertake the Senior First Aid Certificate and receive a comprehensive First Aid Kit.Students will receive a "Survival Kit" comprising items useful in Tourism. Excursions are part of the course and include the following examples: vineyards, Perth Zoo, Kings Park, museums, orienteering and first aid certificate.
  3. An application fee of $230 is a one-off-fee that is submitted with students enrolment documents. Note: this fee is non-refundable and applied to the total fees above.

   Refund Policy

All requests for a refund   must be submitted in writing (with supporting documentation) to the Admissions Manager/Director, AAHM.

 

A notice of withdrawal due to:

o              Illness or disability

o              Death of a close family member (parent, sibling, spouse, child)

o              Political or civil event that prevents acquittal

- may be accepted as grounds for partial refund of fees.  Supporting documentary evidence must be provided.

 

IN ALL CASES:

o              Refunds of tuition and accommodation fees will be in accordance with the Western Australian Government’s Policy Guidelines for institutions providing courses to International students and Commonwealth Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000.  These documents are available to students on the AAHM Website.

o              Refund calculations are based on the contracted course duration, which student had signed up for

o              The refund (if any) will be paid within four (4) weeks after receiving a written claim by the student.

a)        A semester is deemed to be either the duration of the course or 20 weeks, whichever is the lesser. A week is classified Monday to Friday, excluding weekend days. If notice to withdraw in writing is required, AAHM will count the Monday of that week of written notice received, as the commencement of the first week of notice of withdrawal, not necessarily the date on the letter of withdrawal. (AAHM will stamp date the letter of withdrawal as proof of date of receipt, and a copy of this stamped withdrawal letter will go to the student immediately).

b)        In the event that a student withdraws from a course the refund policy will apply as follows:

iii)                    Homestay Placement Fee are non refundable

No Refund unless there is a provider default

If the visa application is unsuccessful and the student notifies AAHM in writing within 14 days of refusal from DIAC (with supporting document/s)

100% of tuition fees paid minus the  lesser of Administrative Fees of A$250 or 5% of the course fees

If the students withdraws up to 10 weeks before course commencement

100% of tuition fees paid less Administrative Fee of A$250

If the student withdraws 10 to 4 weeks before course commencement

50% of tuition fees paid less Administrative Fee of A$250

If the student withdraws and leaves the course less than 4 weeks after course commencement

 

If the course is 10 weeks or less and the student withdraws and leaves the course 0 to 4 weeks after course commencement

30% of tuition fees paid less Administrative Fee of A$250 Minus any inclusions that have already been provided.

 

 

No refund is given

If the student withdraws after Week 4 of the course

Any refund is at the discretion of AAHM

If AAHM withdraws an offer, fails to provide the program offered or terminates an education service

 

 Students receive refund in full. AAHM retains no monies and an administrative fee is not charged to the student.

If AAHM withdraws a student from an education service because the student has seriously breached the international student visa conditions (example: academic achievement) or the Policies and AAHM Student Code of AAHM

No refund of the semester's fees paid will be given and 100% of fees paid in advance and applicable to a subsequent semester will be refunded less Administrative Fee of A$250 or 5% of the fees which ever is the lesser.

 


c)        AAHM has the obligation to report to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) on any breach of the international student visa conditions.

 

Student/s whom is not satisfied by AAHM decision of their refund application, may utilise AAHM’s Complaints and Appeals Process.  The Process does not prevent students from seeking legal action under the Australian Consumer Protection Laws.
